CHASSIS 28 – Owned by Raymond McLelland, this car has been highly modified since it was originally built by its previous owner. It now sports a hugely powerful 2-litre Turbo Calibra engine. More information to follow.
CHASSIS 29 – Originally built by Dick Lees as a present to himself for his 70th birthday, the car remained with him until 2011, when he sold it to Stuart Paice, grandson of Stan Paice, owner of Cyclone number 8. Latest pics are at the end of the gallery.
CHASSIS 30 – Substantially re-engineered by owner/builder John Hinds to meet his aspirations as a kit car designer/builder. Changes include a restyled foam-filled semi structural nosecone, shortened front bonnet with unique hinge arrangement, relocated fuel tank, revised pedal box to allow a clutch foot brace, inset steering column for increased elbow space, new dash panel with ETB Digidash, unique double wishbone rear suspension incorporating Ford Escort FWD uprights and custom driveshafts. Engine is a Ford Racing Puma engine and gearbox, topped with a revised engine cover. Wilwood 4-pot front brakes with Escort Cosworth rears with vented discs all round. 13in wheels and tyres. Registered in December 2015 after nearly 16 years in gestation. John uses the car on regular track days.
